ILLUSTRATIVE IMAGEWhat does it involve?
Children’s dentistry focuses on preventing, detecting and treating problems during development. We assess baby and permanent teeth, gums, habits and bite development. Families receive guidance on cleaning and food. Where treatment is needed, it is explained clearly and planned according to age, cooperation and the clinical situation.
Care today. Smile tomorrow.
Support for families
Identifying developmental problems
Is it right for you?
Early care helps establish habits and monitor tooth eruption. Pain, marks, injuries or changes in chewing are reasons to seek advice before the next scheduled review.
A plan you can understand.
Getting to know us
We adapt the visit to help your child become familiar with the surroundings.
Review and teach
We examine the mouth and share guidance with your family.
Long-term care
We treat what is needed and plan reviews according to risk.
Aftercare and points to consider
Brushing needs adult supervision during childhood. Toothpaste quantity and technique should match age. Reducing frequent sugary food and drinks helps care for teeth.
Supporting dental health as children grow
Meet the dentist before pain develops
The first teeth are a good opportunity to seek guidance. An early visit allows discussion of cleaning and food and familiarisation with the clinic. There is no need to wait until all baby teeth are replaced or discomfort develops.
Brushing needs adult support
Cleaning starts with the first tooth. An adult should perform or supervise it according to age and dexterity. Fluoride toothpaste and its quantity should be suitable; the consultation can review technique and help address difficulties in the family routine.
Sealants provide specific protection
Chewing surfaces have grooves where debris can collect. Sealants cover selected areas to help prevent decay when indicated. They do not protect every surface or replace brushing, appropriate food habits and reviews.
Baby-tooth injuries need a different approach
Seek immediate dental advice if a tooth is knocked out. A baby tooth must not be replanted because it could harm the developing permanent tooth. If you are unsure which type it is, ask for professional advice without delaying care.

Information to help you feel more at ease before your appointment.
01Do baby teeth need treatment too?
Yes. They contribute to chewing and development, and damage can cause pain or infection.
02When should the first visit take place?
Guidance can begin when the first teeth appear or during the first year. Ask about the appropriate timing for your child.
03What if my child injures a tooth?
Contact us promptly for instructions. Management depends on whether the tooth is baby or permanent and the type of injury.
04What are sealants?
Sealants protect selected grooves in teeth. They are recommended according to risk and require follow-up.
05Should my child brush independently?
Independence develops gradually. Adult supervision and help remain important.
06Are sweets the only cause of decay?
No. Sugar frequency, biofilm, cleaning and other individual factors all influence risk.
07Can I request an appointment for my child?
Yes. Use the responsible adult’s details in the form; we will clarify the information needed when we contact you.
08How is suitability assessed?
This page provides general guidance. During your consultation, we review your history, examine your mouth and recommend investigations if needed. We explain the alternatives before a decision is made.
09Can I see a cost estimate before starting?
Yes. After diagnosis, we explain the proposed plan and cost estimate, including its stages and what is covered. The price depends on your needs, rather than the treatment name alone.
